Beginning his career at Drishti Weekly and Janaastha Weekly, Gautam quickly established himself as a formidable journalist. His nearly 18-year tenure at Kantipur Publications saw him rise from a correspondent to key editorial leadership positions, shaping some of Nepal’s most influential news narratives.
Expanding his expertise, he joined Annapurna Media Group, where he served as Station Manager of Radio Annapurna, Founding Editor of Annapurna Today weekly, and Editor-in-Chief of Annapurna Daily. His forward-thinking approach later led him to Nagarik Media as Digital Editor, followed by his role as the founding Editor-in-Chief of NepalViews.com, further cementing his reputation as a pioneer in Nepal’s digital media space.
Today, Gautam is the Founder of Eye Opener Media Pvt. Ltd., where he continues to drive innovation in journalism as the Chief Editor of Wah Jindagi magazine and its digital platform. Additionally, he remains an active voice in Nepali media as a regular columnist for Kantipur Daily, offering sharp insights on contemporary issues.
